He has been performing stand up comedy for several years at many different venues, including the Sydney Comedy Store.

As well as performing regularly in Sydney comedy venues, he has also performed in festivals around the world including Sydney Fringe Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Bangkok Hilarious.

He has performed in festival split bill shows, as well as the full length solo show "2 Fat 2 Levitate".

I saw Scotty Boom Booms perform several times before I invited him to perform regularly in my comedy shows around Sydney. I invited Scott, not just because he made me laugh (which he did), but because he consistently made very different audiences laugh.​
Since joining our roster in early 2016, Scotty has been equally comfortable in our smallest room with an audience of 60 as he was in our largest, performing to 160. ​I have observed that Scotty has a consistently strong comedy work ethic: As well as performing regularly all over Sydney, and writing lots of new jokes, he’s continually refining his material, finding even more laughs-per-minute from some already strong material.

​Scott has a refreshingly collaborative approach to comedy. He collaborates valuably in several comedy writing groups and even in our rooms, he’s happy to share experience, insight and opportunities with me and other comedians. Scotty has also been a guest on my radio program several times, where he has been hilariously at home.
